About Us

GMking is a thriving community of volunteers who produce content for indie game developers and users. GMking has served the game development community since 2004; and continues to produce relevant, quality material to educate and inform.

GMking - also more formally referred to as GMking.org - is a network of multiple services. GMking.org provides a monthly magazine publication: MarkUp Magazine, which is targeted at Game Maker game development by providing comprehensive tutorials, well-explained and useful scripts, extensions, resources, editorials, game reviews, community news, interviews, and exclusive previews in one package!

GMpedia.org is another service of GMking, a general yet comprehensive Game Development Wiki. It is a fast growing, well-organized project that is aimed at all game developers in general. It is the largest Game Maker wiki service available, with excellent community links and information as well. Aside from the Game Maker aspect, GMpedia provides information about Flash, C++, C#, Visual Studio, and various SDKs out there, as well as general game development related information and relevant mathematics and geometry articles.

Game Maker TV is an excellent Game Maker Video Webcast service provided by Dan Eggers and the GMking community. Game Maker TV provides excellent episodes with community news, game reviews, interviews, and simple tutorials.
